How to Overcome Negative Thoughts

It’s really hard to accept the idea that we should enjoy the journey when there are so many complex problems in the present world.  Stress, anxiety, depression are a real thing right now.  
 
So how do we learn strategies to deal with these “internal world problems”.

Change the Questions You ask yourself repeatedly
-the questions we ask ourselves is the key
 
Remind Yourself People Don’t Care about what you say or do
-our anxiety is not theirs…people have their own issues
 
Shift Your Brain
-question your thoughts moving from emotion to logic.
 
Change Your Surroundings
-surround yourself with positive or good vibrations
 
Change Your Perspective or Filter
-while this really matter in 5 years?
 
Talk it out or Vent.
-talking it out can be a great way to get rid of thoughts.
 
Come back to the present.
-focus on your breath, counting, etc.
 
Force a Change in Thought Direction
-grab a project or task to consume your mind.
 
Go Workout or Exercise
-body and mind have an amazing connection.
 
Change focus to Service
-move focus from you to others and recognize them.
 
Practice Gratitude
-make a physical list of things you appreciate.
 
Book end Your day…
-idle time and unfocused time is the precursor
