You Can Make Excuses or Money but not Both (2 of 4)

Today, lets discuss the first 5 Wealth Files from SOMM by T Harv Eker…Get the Book
…by the way, you need to get the book and study it vigorously.

Wealth File #1
Rich people believe “I create my life.” Poor people believe “Life happens to me.”

Do you take responsibility for things that happen in your life or play the victim?

Harv talks about Clues to if you are playing the victim…
Not “you are a victim”…Playing “role of victim”

-Blame…economy, business, relationships, people…
-Justifying or Rationalizing situation…money not important, of course they can do it, etc…
-Complaining…about everything…Instead practice gratitude

You can make Money or Excuses…Not Both

Wealth File #2
Rich people play the money game to win.  Poor people play the money game to not lose.

Are you playing Offense or Defense?
Business Example of playing “no to lose”

Harv…if you goal is to be comfortable, chances are you’ll never get rich.  But if your goal si to be rich, chances are you’ll end up mighty comfortable.

Wealth File #3
Rich people are committed to being rich.  Poor people want to be rich.

Truth is Most people have negative relationship with money (responsibility, fear of loss)
Plus, not willing to do what it takes….”Act in spite of their mood” PP #3
Levels of commitment…I want, I choose, I commit…big but subtle differences.
If you are not totally committed to being successful you Wont Be…but here is the challenge…

Harv put it well when he said, “the number one reason most people don’t get what they want is that they don’t know what they want.”

Wealth File #4
Rich people think big.  Poor people think small.

Limiting beliefs hold you back…self confidence, self esteem, goals, vision
Remember that money is a result.  Focus on the Cause not the result
Vision, Daily Rituals, Building Belief, and activities that increase your Confidence.
This is what will help you think bigger…and most importantly, DREAM BUILD

Wealth File #5
Rich people focus on opportunities.  Poor people focus on obstacles.

Remember when I said you can make Money or Make excuses but not both?
Well, it is so important that you understand that the way you approach situations in your life is KEY.
Do you see opportunities or do you see obstacles.
Do you think through a filter of scarcity or abundance.
Abundant thinkers see opportunities…learning, overcoming for strength, ways to improve
Rich people focus and start from solutions not the problems.

I hope these Wealth Files have inspired you to do a couple of things:
1-Change the way you Look at things…

Wayne Dyer said, “when you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change”

2-Be conscious of your thoughts and mindset…This is the key.

You cannot create change until you are aware of what to change.
You cannot create your best life when your thoughts are going in the wrong direction because this will create feelings, actions and results that do not match your Goals, Vision and I believe …

True Potential…
