How to Ask Questions that will Change Your Life

We begin most of what we learn and study in personal development with the understanding that Your Thoughts Create Your Life, right?

Well where do your thoughts come from?
…let’s really consider where they are coming from

the way i was raised
people I am around
environment where and how I live
problems that I deal with in life

These are all sources of your thoughts, but there is much more to it than that…
Most thoughts are preceded by a question…
…question about parents, life, circumstances, environment, or even problems we are facing.

Regardless, most thoughts are coming from question we are asking ourselves.
….most of the time its an internal dialogue.

The real question you need to ask yourself is…
…Are the questions you are asking Empowering or Disempowering?

First, you need to discover the types of questions you are asking yourself all day, and then you need to uncover the Primary Question you are asking yourself in life…this is KEY.

Let me give you a few examples…and how each can be positive or negative influences on your life.

What are they thinking about me?
positive:  You want to create a good impression
negative: You are focused on what other people think of you

How can I protect myself?
positive:  You are alert to the threat of danger
negative: You are focused on looking for danger all the time rather than opportunity

How can I make the company safe and profitable?
positive:  You want the company to do well
negative: You are playing “not to lose” rather than “to win”

How can I make it better?
positive:  You want to make things better
negative: Nothing is ever good enough

What is the purpose of my life?
positive:  You want to know why you are here
negative: You are focused on you and not others and assume you don’t create purpose

The Objective of today is to compel you to…
ASK A BETTER QUESTION

Great questions empower you and your life.

First remember that the construct of the question will determine whether it is empowering or disempowering…

Steps to create Great Questions:

1    Ask Empowering Questions
2    Internalize Your Questions into your subconscious mind daily
live life as if an answer to a profoundly cosmic question
3    Use a Strong Imagination when asking questions
Visualize solutions to problems
Create inspiration for discover and self motivation
4    Don’t let the limiting Opinions of others limit your imagination or questions

The Questions you ask will determine the direction of your life and the filter you use to live it.

Exercise for you to consider:
What are some questions you can begin to ask about your life and world around you?
What questions can you ask to improve your life, daily routine, home life, community, business?
What questions are you asking yourself every day and how can reword them to be empowering?
What is your primary question and is it serving YOU?
