Begin with Your End in Mind

Yesterday I was working with a partner to develop some new programs and he said to me, “I like to start with the end goal in mind”.  I love this and thought it might be a great idea to discuss today.

I realized that I do this instinctively in business, although I dont always make the time to strategically plan from the end goal.  But, I thought it might be helpful today for us to talk about whether your activities are being driven by a Good and Worthy goal.

So what do I mean by this?…

Start with your end goal first
What life to be like?
What is purpose of your activity?

Make sure its what you wantIs your ladder you are climbing against wrong wall?

Make sure your end goal is real and it’s trackable.
Building a personal Brand is not a good goal unless you have a plan for what it will do for you or others in the world.

Make sure your end game is NOT a nonstarter…
*If it doesn’t pencil out to fit your time, value and money…Then don’t do it.

There is Power in your vision and end goal.
It will drive your motivation and efforts.
It will be your litmus test for what activities to say YES or NO to.
Ultimately it will help you to set proper benchmarks and milestones.

It is my hope that you will take the time this week to make sure your efforts are being driving strategically and with specific intent. I know this will help you create the life you were meant to live.
