Welcome back to the Daily Mastermind…your Daily Dose of Inspiration, Motivation and Education.

My name is George Wright III, your host. and over the past 25 years, I’ve growing brands and businesses for some of the biggest thought leaders, celebrities and experts in the world.

I created The Daily Mastermind so that I could share some of the lessons I’ve learned and help Individuals, Entrepreneurs and High Achievers (like you) Unleash Your True Potential.

But to Create Your Best Life, you gotta focus on Growing all aspects of Your life including  Your Mind, Body, Money, Business and Lifestyle…and The Daily Mastermind will help you to do that…

So some days I will provide a short 5-10 minute episode and other days I’ll interview guests that are experts in one of those key areas so you can get the “behind the scenes” stories, strategies and inspiration that will help you to also create success in your life and business.

Quote OF THE DAY…Martha Beck, “How you do anything is how you do everything.”

I love this quote. One of my Mentors T Harv Eker used to say this a lot.

I challenge you to say it to yourself often so that you can push yourself to new levels in your life…which leads me to the topic I want to talk with you about today…but let me start with a question…

When you approach any area of your life, are you “ALL IN”…or do you sorta “give it a try”?

Do you leave projects unfinished?
Do you find ways to throttle back?
Do you often start a book or a challenge and not finish?
I’m talking about anything from relationships, business, job, or even daily rituals….are you “all in” or are you “giving it your best shot?”

I got thinking about this topic the other day after reading a great article and its been floating around in my thoughts ever since.

I think all of us are guilty of not giving our 100% effort on things…in many areas of our lives. (examples)

Of course its easy to tell myself the quote above about “how you do anything is how you do everything”…and then I will usually step up. But, I really started thinking about this topic because for some reason we tend to cycle through these phases in our lives at different times…like stepping on and off the gas pedal. Or riding the gas and brake at the same time while driving.

Obviously this is not a very good strategy and will limit your growth, potential and even results. So let’s chat about this for a minute.

First, its important to recognize why we avoid going all in.
  • its hard
  • its scary
  • we doubt our abilities
  • we hedge our bets or options
  • we fear hurt or failure or pain

But, its also important to recognize that we are sacrificing our best life by not giving everything we do (especially important stuff) our complete commitment.

When you go “all in” with things in life you stand to benefit a ton of different ways…and its important to truly think about these:
  • deep commitment brings deeper trust
  • the ultimate or best results/outcome only comes from best effort
  • growth and transformation come from jumping into the fire of fear and doubt.

I really like a commencement speech given by Jim Carrey when he said…
Fear is going to be a player in your life, but you get to decide how much. You can spend your whole life imagining ghosts, worrying about your pathway to the future, but all there will ever be is what’s happening here, and the decisions we make in this moment, which are based in either love or fear.

He goes on to say…
I learned many great lessons from my father, not the least of which was that you can fail at what you don’t want, so you might as well take a chance on doing what you love.

Oh, and why not take a chance on faith as well? Take a chance on faith — not religion, but faith. Not hope, but faith. I don’t believe in hope. Hope is a beggar. Hope walks through the fire. Faith leaps over it.

Ultimately with this episode I want to bring AWARENESS to you about how you are Playing The Game Of Life RIGHT NOW…and also, I want to ENCOURAGE YOU to go “all in”.

Harness the power that comes from putting your complete focus, attention, desire and obsession on the things that you are PASSIONATE and EXCELLENT at…Your Unique Talents.

After all, if you havent heard it by now…”if something is worth doing, its worth doing right”…which is “all in”

I want to leave you with this simple thought…a poem from Les Brown that I have heard a million times and I can hear a million more.

If you want something bad enough…
If you want a thing bad enough to go out and fight for it, to work day and night for it, to give up your time, your peace and sleep for it.

If all that you dream and scheme is about it, and life seems useless and worthless without it.

If you gladly sweat for it and fret for it and plan for it and lose all your terror of the opposition for it.

If you simply go after that thing that you want with all your capacity, strength and sagacity, faith, hope and confidence and stern pertinacity.

If neither cold, poverty, famine, nor gout, sickness nor pain, of body and brain, can keep you away from the thing that you want.
If dogged and grim you besiege and beset it, with the help of God, YOU WILL GET IT! — Les Brown

Now go all in and share this show. Live the life you were meant to live. Become the person you were meant to be.

Thanks for listening.
George
